Frequently asked questions:

1.) Am I able to see a sample of the invitation or announcement I created before purchasing? 

  • We have created our website so that we can display your information on the invitations ourselves. The reason being is that everyone has a different amount of information, some having quite a lot while others have very little information. We want to be able to move clipart around as well as your writing to make everything fit nicely.  You will receive a proof for your approval before printing sent to your email address on file with in 24-48 business hours.

2.) What is your turn around time for delivery?

  • You will receive a proof within 24-48 business hours after purchase. Business hours are Monday-Friday accept all major holidays including New Years Day, Presidents Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday), Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

  • Once you approve the proof your item will be shipped with in 1-3 business days. Shipping method will be determined by what you choose. Choosing Priority shipping DOES NOT mean that you will receive your item in 2-3 business days from your order. It means you will receive your item in 2-3 business days after shipment in place of the 5-7 business days with 1st class.

4.) Is your website safe for credit card processing?

  • We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
  • We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order.
  • It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

5.) Do I have to have a picture on the invitation or announcement?

  • If you don't want a picture, don't upload one. We will move around clipart to fill in the area where the picture was.

6.) Can I add a picture to the invitation or announcement?

  • Yes a picture can be added to any design. We would either make the font smaller or move around clipart to make the picture fit properly. You will receive a proof with in 24-48 hours after purchase.

7.) Do you charge extra for custom orders?

  • We do not charge extra for custom orders unless you want the invitation exclusive which means that McKenna Layne Designs will not place your creation on our website for future sales. The cost for exclusive invitations is an extra $25.00.
